Dudes, this looks awesome. DO WANT!
On Friday, I went down to Khuja Lounge in Auckland (or should I say up) to check out Auckland-based hip hop act Homebrew. I’ve been listening to their stuff for a while now and have decided to feature them in this coming issue of No Limits, but this was the first time I had seen them live.
The dopeness! These guys are, without a doubt, making the best hip hop in New Zealand at the moment. The music is fun, clever, and infinitately relatable, all backed by nice production and intricate beats. Want to find some good party-starting hip-hop, check these guys out. You can even download their latest LP for free, here
Otherwise, check out Issue 2 of No Limits mag, due out in a few weeks, for a full interview.
Thanks for the hook-ups and the chat Tom!
Check this crazy shit out! It looks pretty whack, but man I’d have some fun with it.
Travis Pastrana flipping yet another machine. This was only filmed about a week ago and it was the first ever backflip performed in competition. Very cool!
Sorry for the late post today, but I’ve literally just walked in the door after spending the day down in Tauranga checking out NZ Supercross champ Mason Phillips private SX track. A couple of other riders were in attendance for a little photoshoot I threw together, including NZ MX2 champion, Michael Phillips. Thanks to Mason and the boys for the day out, the quality riding and the BBQ for dins.
I haven’t had time to pull the shots off the camera, but I’ve got a good feeling about this shoot – I guess you’ll just have to wait until the next issue of No Limits comes out to check it out. In the mean time, here is Mike to give you a few jumping pointers. Ain’t the internet grand?
You know what? Sometimes I just like seeing people make dicks of themselves… Only occasionally do I enjoy the ones with potential serious pain involved. Don’t pretend like you are any different.
It’s been a while since this sort of mad hucking, huge dropping competition was at its peak, but its still cool to watch.
