Ok, so here is a condensed version of what happened: Two kids are skating to school, one catches on a stone or similar, goes down and falls onto the side of the road. A guy on a motorbike is coming past, swerves to avoid him and smacks straight into a Vectra coming the other way. He ends up dying from his injuries.

A sad story for sure, but what is even sadder is that the widow of said rider, is now suing the skate kid for nearly a million bucks, claiming negligence. I don’t know about you, but my view is that people have accidents, shit happens and sometimes everything goes pearshaped because of it. Just because a kid fell off his skateboard, he’s being sued for more money than he will probably ever see in his life? I’m sure he already feels pretty shit as it is…
